Message The turbo insulators do work exceptionally well. A guy here in town w/ a big single turbo supra has his down pipe coated and his turbine housing is wrapped in the turbo blanket. You can put your hand on the turbine housing with the car running. This guy is as anal as they come about his car. If there were any negative effects caused by the blnaket you could rest assured that he would not have it on his car. You don't wrap the center housing section so the heat is retained only in the cast iron turbine housing.
When I swap my current turbos for the Gt2540's I have. I will be using the blankets on my turbine housing.
